Consultation & Assessment
The first plan of action is to have our Hotshot assessment professionals come to your property to fully evaluate the risk level. We will take an in depth look at the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) as a whole, focusing on the level of fuel and the level of risk of your structures. We will follow up our in person consultation with a quote and a detailed assessment breakdown of our findings. We will construct a plan of what can be done moving forward to give you as much peace of mind as possible in an event of a wildfire.
-
Fuel Reduction & Hazard Mitigation
At this point we will send our crew of hotshots to your property to mitigate any and all hazards to limit the threat of a wildfire, including but not limited to; managing overgrown brush, removing invasive species, chipping to remediate soil health and expertly tending to the native plants to help them become more resilient to fire. Dependent on the property we will facilate a water storage/irrigation system to ensure an added level of protection. Our mission is to do everything we can to mitigate risk while keeping our future impact in mind.
-
Native Plant Reintroduction
Once we have accomplished mitigating hazards we will work with the property owner to design a fire resilient habitat that not only will help limit the rate of spread from a wildfire, but will limit invasive species taking root and will invite all sorts of life, from insects to birds to soil health. Native plants are drought tolerant and will save you in water costs and support a flourishing ecosystem.

Fire resiliency maintenance
After we have “hardened” your home, the job isn’t entirely over. Fire is a natural part of the environment and the threat will always persist if the land is not cared for and properly maintained. Dependent on your property and its specific needs we will come back and continue our mission in ensuring you have a fire resilient property.
